2/17/2012 - Quick Update

Mr. chatterton and Brother in Law on the 30' Rampage went 1 for 2 on striped marlin yesterday and 0 for 1 on sails. After the off shore action the inside lit up with a great grouper take and some very niced sized snaper.

Stay tuned for more updates,

2/16/2012 - Great Weather and Good Fishing

We finally seem to be on the later side of the Papagayo winds as we move in to later Feb. The little bit of red tide that haunted us last week has floated further north leaving behind nice clean water.

The fishing has turned on as well with several sails and striped and blue marlin released by various crews this past week. The in-shore bite is keeping folks happy and fed as well.

If your looking to chase big boys nows the time to get planning and get on the phone with us and get some dates blocked out.

Tight lines,

Capt. Chris

2/10/2012 - Bill fish Showing Up

It took em' a little while but they are showing up and in pretty good numbers. The striped marlin have made their presence known and the finiky feeding habits have anglers up and down and with excitement with lightening fast strikes and amazing performances when hooked up.

The pros on the 38' Topaz have found the boys in the blue jackets hanging out up north releasing one over 400 pounds this week while the guys in Carrillo are having to run firther north to see the fish.

The 26' Boca Grande found themselves releasing a very nice blue marlin on a short day just out front as well - so when the winds cooperate- the fish are being caught.

The boys on the 30' Rampage went 2 for 2 on sails and released a nice striped marlin yesterday and the 28' Carolina Classic has found themselves knee deep in stipes as well

The bottom bite remains strong and we really are looking forward to seeing the water warm up just a bit to really get the billfish moving!

See you soon

1/30/2012 - Bottoms Up!

The bill fish bite has been slacked off slightly ovrt the past week or so but this isn't leaving any clients disappointed. The guys on the 32 Rampage had number of incredible days parking out over nearby reefs picking up some very nice sized grouper, snapper and sea bass.

The crew of the 28 Carolina Classic continues to raise marlin daily but finiky eating behaviour is making for some great excitement but few releases for the moment - the boys have released a couple of nice sails over the past little while.

The 36' Topaz is keeping anlgers happy chasing sails and Marlin and bringing home good eats from the bottom of the column.

Stay tuned for more repprts...

Sincerely,

Capt. Chris
